Khalifa condoles King Abdullah

Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan offered today his sincere condolences and those of the UAE and its people to King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saudi, Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Al saud, Saudi Arabian Crown Prince and all the Al Saud Royal family on the death of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud.

Members of the delegation accompanying Shaikh Khalifa also offered their condolences.

During his meeting with King Abdullah, Shaikh Khalifa expressed deep grief and sincere condolences on the great loss to the Arab and Islamic nations and the Saudi people in the demise of King Fahd, who, Shaikh Khalifa said, had worked with utmost sincerity to serve his people and the peoples of the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in addition to his support to Arab and Islamic causes and his significant contributions to serving humanity at large.

The UAE president and his entourage had earlier joined a large number of dignitaries, including heads of states and delegations from Arab and Islamic countries to perform the funeral rites of the late Saudi monarch.
